This project involved the exterior cladding of a compact laneway suite using 7/8" corrugated steel wall and soffit panels, installed over a high-performance envelope incorporating Blueskin air/vapour barrier and Rockwool exterior insulation. Finished with flat roof parapet capping and commercial-style metal rainware, the design delivers a clean, modern exterior that balances budget efficiency with strong architectural character.

At the start of construction, the laneway suite’s basic form and exterior concept were already established. Our role was to execute the design intent with precision — coordinating creative panel orientations, unconventional soffit applications, and complex material transitions to achieve a polished, high-quality result.

The finished exterior features strategically varied panel orientations that add depth and visual interest, crisp transitions between steel and masonry, and a cohesive industrial aesthetic throughout. The St. George Project
This project delivered a contemporary laneway suite exterior using Hardie Plank and Hardie Panel fiber cement cladding, NewTechWood castellated fluted WPC wall panels and shiplap soffits, and custom Agway-fabricated metal window shrouds, all installed over a Blueskin air/vapour barrier.
The Whittier Project
This project was a lakeside exterior renovation completed through a collaborative design process with the homeowners. Using Hardie Plank fiber cement siding at the ground level and Hardie board-and-batten cladding on upper façades and the garage, all installed over added polyisocyanurate exterior insulation, the home received a durable, energy-efficient exterior that enhances curb appeal while respecting its original character.
The Carlaw Project
This project delivered a contemporary modular exterior using Hardie fiber cement architectural panels, Agway NS-25 standing seam metal wall and roof panels, and thermally modified CFP White Ash wood accents.
