What is a non-combustible siding material and why do I need it on some of my walls?
Metal and Fiber Cement are non-combustibles and will not contribute to a spread of fire. Proximity to another building may require non-combustible siding as per building code.
Do I need a building permit for siding?
Siding has no impact on the structure or footprint of your property, so building permits are not required. However, there are Building Codes that must be adhered to such as R-value and Fire Rating.
What is the project cycle from estimate to finish?
Generally, the project cycle can be 1 to 6 months, depending on various factors.
How long does siding last?
Most siding options will last 20-50 years depending on product and installation
Should I paint my old siding or replace it?
Although painting is an economical option to change the look of your siding, it is not recommended to paint old and outdated siding. Painting old siding will cost more in the long run, as the need for replacement is surely on its way.
